Denticon stays your practice management system, your schedule and your source of truth. This is an add-on that connects to your Denticon account through our cloud sync. Not a replacement, and not a migration.
Denticon is cloud-based, so nothing goes on your operatory machines. Planet DDS enables data access for your organization, a small sync utility runs on one office computer, and your schedule, patients and insurance start syncing. There is no data migration and no conversion, and your Denticon setup keeps working exactly as it does today.
The AI picks up the calls you route to it: after hours, on hold, the second line, or whichever lines you choose. It answers hours, location, insurance-accepted and new-patient questions using the answers you give it, looks the caller up, finds open time from your synced schedule, and books the visit into Denticon so the front desk sees it.
Changing or cancelling an existing appointment stays with your team. When a caller wants to move or cancel a visit, the AI identifies the patient, takes down what they're asking for, and passes the request to your team. Clinical questions, billing disputes and anything the caller asks to escalate are routed the same way rather than answered.
Setup is account access and a phone number, not a migration. Planet DDS enables data access for your Denticon organization, then you forward the line you want covered: your after-hours line, overflow from your main number, or a tracking number. We load your hours, providers, operatories, scheduling rules and the answers your team already gives. Before the AI takes a live call, we make a test booking and confirm it shows up in your Denticon schedule, and you listen to test calls and correct the script.
No. Denticon stays where it is and stays your source of truth. This connects to your Denticon account and books into the schedule you already use. There is no data migration and no second schedule to reconcile.
No. The AI books new appointments; it does not change or cancel existing ones. A caller asking to move or cancel is identified, their request is written down, and it goes to your team, so a person makes the change in Denticon.
Yes. Denticon is common in multi-location groups, and each location keeps its own hours, providers, operatories and phone lines, so a caller is booked at the office they called.
The request goes to your team with what the AI collected (who the caller is, what they asked for, and a callback number) so someone can pick it up instead of working from a voicemail box. Emergencies, clinical questions and billing disputes are routed rather than answered.
We sign a BAA, and PHI is encrypted at the field level at rest. Access is scoped to your practice, and the data access Planet DDS enables for us can be switched off by your organization at any time.
If you run Denticon and you're losing calls, you don't have to switch systems. This answers the phone, answers the common questions and books new appointments into your Denticon schedule. Changes and cancellations stay with your team.

You keep Denticon. This answers the phone when your front desk can't, handles the questions your team gets asked most (hours, location, insurance accepted, new patients) and books new appointments into your Denticon schedule. Cancellations and changes to existing appointments go to your team.
